Shakespeare Theatre still faces hurdles for new administrative center

The saga continues for the Shakespeare Theatre Company as it tries to consolidate its scattered operations into a new administrative facility two blocks from Arena Stage.On Wednesday, STC will file its planned unit development proposal for the former Southeastern University site at Sixth and I streets SW. The project, which the company calls "The Bard," would bring STC's administration, educational facilities, rehearsal space, artist housing and costume shop under one roof.
